Josh Ruben’s Heart Eyes is getting a sequel, which is set to release in theaters February 11, 2028.

Variety reports, “It’s unclear who from the group is returning for the sequel. Plot details haven’t been revealed, either.” They do note, however, that Josh Ruben is back to direct.

Ruben will co-write the script for Heart Eyes 2 with Darcy Fowler from a story by Christopher Landon and Michael Kennedy. Landon will produce the sequel.

Mason Gooding (Scream) and Olivia Holt (Cruel Summer) starred in the first film.
