Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the first teaser for Verity.

The adaptation of the bestselling psychological thriller by It Ends with Us author Colleen Hoover stars Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson.

It follows Lowen Ashleigh (Johnson), a struggling writer who is hired to complete a successful book series after its author, Verity Crawford (Hathaway), is incapacitated. Once inside the Crawford home, Lowen becomes entangled with Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett) and uncovers an unfinished manuscript that may reveal disturbing truths about the author.

Directed by Michael Showalter (The Idea of You), Verity also stars Ismael Cruz Córdova and Brady Wagner.
