The first images for Na Hong-Jin‘s (The Wailing) sci-fi thriller Hope are here.

The official synopsis reads, “In Hope Harbor, a remote village near the Demilitarized Zone, police outpost chief Bum-seok receives alarming news from locals that a tiger has appeared. As the village erupts into panic, Bum-seok is forced to confront a reality beyond belief.“

Hwang Jung-min (The Wailing), Zo In-sung (“Moving”), Hoyeon (“Squid Game”), Taylor Russell(Bones and All), Cameron Britton (“The Umbrella Academy”), Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina), and Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) star.

Hong Kyung-pyo (The Wailing, Parasite) reteams with Na Hong-Jin as cinematographer.

Na produces alongside Saemi Kim and Saerom Kim for Forged Films. Jeongin Hong executive produces, with Plus M Entertainment financing.
