Universal Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for The Odyssey from director Christopher Nolan.

The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside an all-star cast that includes Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Mia Goth, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal and John Leguizamo.

Nolan wrote the screenplay based on Homer’s ancient poem and produced it alongside Emma Thomas under their Syncopy banner. Universal Pictures is distributing the film.

The Odyssey releases July 17, 2026.
