Liam Hemsworth (“The Witcher,” The Hunger Games) is set to star in the action-horror-thriller They Like The Dark.

Hemsworth will play a half-blind bomb tech who wakes chained in a warehouse with no memory of his arrival. He must rely only on his instincts and his loyal service dog to survive the horrors that hunt him in the dark.

Mike Pecci will direct from a script by Will Simmons.

Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, & Sam Roston will produce for Scott Free Productions, alongside Joshua Harris, Nathan Klingher, & Ford Corbett for Gramercy Park.

Fortitude will launch They Like the Dark to international buyers at next week’s Cannes film market. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group co-represent domestic rights.
