Paramount Pictures has dropped the trailer for Heart of the Beast.

In the film, “After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness.

“Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.”

Heart of the Beast is said to be “an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.”

J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and Anna Lambe (“True Detective: Night Country”) also star.

David Ayer (Suicide Squad, Fury) directs from a screenplay by Cameron Alexander. Academy Award winner Mauro Fiore (Avatar, Spider-Man: No Way Home) serves as director of photography.

The film releases in theaters September 25.
