DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation announced the series adaptation of Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s best-selling DC comic book series, Absolute Batman.

Absolute Batman reimagines the Dark Knight for a new generation as a working-class hero, instead of rich, up against impossible odds on a mission to save a much more violent Gotham. 

Snyder will serve as executive producer and showrunner, with Dragotta as producer.

Launched in 2024, the comic series has sold more than six million copies, with the first volume on its 11th print run.
