Banjong Pisanthanakun is bringing his demonic psychological horror movie Inherit to the Toronto International Film Festival next month, and a trailer for the film has been unveiled.

Davika Hoorne (A Useful Ghost) stars as a grandma possessed by a demon. The film follows Woranart (Hoorne), who returns home 50 years later without a trace of aging. That’s likely because she’s possessed by a centipede spirit seeking a new host: Woranart’s 18-year-old granddaughter, Oui (Baipor Thitiya Jirapornsilp).

Sinjai Plengpanich, Trin Settachoke and Warattaya Nilkuha also star.

Banjong Pisanthanakun directs from a script he co-wrote with Thamsatid Charoenrittichai and Chantavit Dhanasevi, based on the Thai horror novel Tayard Asoon.
