Neal McDonough (Tulsa King) and Skeet Ulrich (Five Nights at Freddy’s 2) are starring in the indie psychological horror film, Deify.

The film will be directed by brothers Carmelo and Nicholas Chimera, based on a script by Nicholas.

It follows a cult leader who is put on trial after causing his devoted followers to be burned alive. McDonough plays the assistant attorney general and prosecuting attorney, a man of integrity who profoundly believes in the criminal justice system. Ulrich plays the enigmatic and manipulative cult leader, who pleads insanity and claims to be taking his commands directly from God.

Deify is being produced by Jordan Gianeschi (The Crow) and Jacob Rice (As I Lie Awake), along with Mike Manning (Eyes in the Trees).

McDonough and his wife Ruvé McDonough are exec producers. Steven Tylor O’Connor (13 Reasons Why) and Becca McCracken (Somebody Somewhere) are handling casting.
