Benjamin Bratt took the stage at D23 to announce his return as Ernesto de la Cruz in Coco 2.

In the sequel, Miguel is now a teenager.

“He’s a little menace who ruined a career and destroyed a legend,” said Bratt, “Ernesto de la Cruz is back for revenge…proving that fate has twists.”

It was also revealed that Coco is part of the next Kingdom Hearts video game.

Coco 2 is set to release November 2029.
