The live-action adaptation of Tangled will be opening in theaters on March 31, 2028.

Starring Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider, the film follows the same Brothers Grimm fairytale as the 2010 animated movie about the princess with magically long hair. After spending years locked away in an isolated tower, Rapunzel is eventually rescued by the fugitive thief, Flynn Rider.

The live-action cast includes Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel, the film’s antagonist who locks Rapunzel away, and Diego Luna playing a new role. Patrick and Hugo McPherson play the Stabbington brothers, two twin villains.

Michael Gracey directs the film from a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and Michael Montemayor.
