Jacob Chase (Insidious: Out of the Further) is re-teaming with Blumhouse Atomic Monster on the horror film, Sleepover.
Plot details beyond that remain under wraps, though it’s said to be a “quintessential sleepover nightmare.”
Chase directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Bryce McGuire (Night Swim), based on McGuire’s original short story.
Jason Blum is producing. Chase, McGuire, and Bea Sequeira serve as executive producers, with Lilly Tyson overseeing the project for the company.
Sleepover is a Cinescape Entertainment production, presented by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Atomic Monster.
Jacob Chase is represented by CAA, Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman, and The Initiative Group.
Bryce McGuire is represented by Gersh and Ziffren Brittenham.
Universal Pictures will release the film in theaters on October 8, 2027.
