Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio unveiled the official launch trailer for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, premiered in grand fashion during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live, just before the game’s release on August 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Combining dynamic melee combat, exploration, environmental puzzles and narrative-driven adventure, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy offers a new perspective on the beloved universe created by Asobo Studio.

Players will uncover Sophia’s origins while exploring a parallel story set during the Minoan era, revealing long-buried secrets connected to the island and shedding new light on the origins of the Macula itself. From breathtaking coastal landscapes to forgotten labyrinths hidden beneath the earth, the game delivers an emotional and intense adventure where every discovery brings Sophia one step closer to the truth… and one step closer to the darkness waiting for her.
