Modern retro publisher Ziggurat Interactive has announced that psychological horror title Sanitarium™ Enhanced is coming to PC (Steam, GOG), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Return to the asylum and try to remember your past all over again in Sanitarium™ Enhanced, a modernised and improved version of DreamForge Intertainment’s award-winning cult horror classic from 1998. In this point-and-click adventure, available for the first time on consoles, you awaken as an amnesiac in a decaying asylum. Escape from your cell and into a genuinely terrifying world featuring villages of deformed children and other grotesque and mutated inmates as you figure out how you got there.

This updated version of the game adds modern features to the visually striking title, including full controller support for consoles and Steam Deck, never-before-seen bonus material, widescreen presentation, and other quality-of-life improvements.
