AMC+ has dropped the teaser for the fourth and final season of spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
In the final season, while crossing the ravaged badlands of Spain, “Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) grasp onto hope – and each other – as uncertainty about their future grows. Smits plays “Captain Alejandro Perkins,” a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who found a unique way to thrive during the apocalypse. ”
Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award-winner Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue, The West Wing) joins the final season.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon also stars Romain Levi, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbués and is executive produced by showrunner David Zabel, Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival and Steve Squillante.
“Across two extraordinary series spanning almost two decades, Norman and Melissa have given life to two of the most iconic characters in the history of television. Daryl and Carol have taken fans on an unforgettable and intensely human journey of challenge, survival, hope and friendship, and the response from fans, from the very first moments of The Walking Dead, has been remarkable,” said AMC’s Dan McDermott. “We can’t wait to share the upcoming third season of Daryl this fall and to begin production on this fourth and final season in Spain.”
