Trainwatch, the newest game from 11 bit studios and acclaimed horror dev Rem Michalski (Harvester Games), is launching on March 10th, 2027, on PC via Steam.

“Trainwatch might be the most mechanics-heavy of my games, but the gist of psychological horror is still very much there, and underlies everything,” says Rem Michalski, the solo developer behind the game. “It’s a more nuanced kind of horror than explicit violence and jump scares. It’s about an unsettling experience, a claustrophobic setting, and internal, human traumas.“

In Trainwatch, you’ll experience the rush of memorizing the train timetable and closing and raising the gate. You’ll also have to keep an eye on your hunger meter, get a good amount of sleep, and make sure to keep your hands washed after any bathroom breaks so you don’t get sick. As you progress, you’ll unlock new skills and abilities, all the while being drawn further and further into the fog surrounding the Tower.

Strangers ask for help or a conversation, incoming trains carry messages, and the weirdness spins faster and faster. But be warned, the clock keeps ticking: a day can’t be stretched, and not every lead can be chased, or every promise kept.

If you want to fix your life in a month, you’ll need to decide what matters most and learn to let go.
