Paramount is moving forward with Smile 3.

David Bruckner (2022’s Hellraiser) is set to direct and Nick Antosca (Cape Fear) to write the screenplay, while Parker Finn will stay on as a producer alongside Temple Hill. Jonathan Fass will executive produce.

Plot details for the third Smile are under wraps.

In Smile, “After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced she is being threatened by an uncanny entity.”

In Smile 2, “About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her past.”
