Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 is coming to Netflix with six new episodes on January 19, 2027.
The Emmy Award–winning animated series hails from creators, executive producers, and writers Amber Noizumi and Michael Green.
In Season 2, Mizu’s (voiced by Maya Erskine) bloody quest continues in London, where she faces new friends, old foes, and her own demons. In Japan, Akemi and Taigen navigate Edo Castle under a dangerous new Shogun, while Ringo searches for new purpose.
Returning for Season 2 are Brenda Song as Akemi, Darren Barnet as Taigen, and Masi Oka as Ringo.
New cast arriving in Season 2 include:
- Jonathan Pryce (Slow Horses, The Crown) as Old Violet
- Joel Kim Booster (Fire Island, KPop Demon Hunters) as Priest Ando
- Sherry Cola (Good Trouble, Joy Ride) as Kuma
Blue Spirit is the animation studio behind the Edo-period epic.
