Paul Bettany (VisionQuest, Legion) is starring opposite Steven Yeun (Nope, The Walking Dead) in Netflix’s supernatural drama, Pagans.

Bettany joins previously announced Sabine Grace, Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Marin Ireland (The Boogeyman) and Intae Kim (Severance).

Pagans follows a man, Gus (Yeun), who becomes the sole caretaker of his two children after the tragic loss of his wife. While his son Nate (Logan Kim) is typical, his daughter, Alice (Sabine Grace), is anything but. What starts as a strained father-daughter relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister.

Bettany will play Mag, a charismatic stranger. Ireland plays single mom Janelle; Intae Kim plays Casey, Gus’ (Yeun) younger brother.

Pagans is created by showrunner Joshua Zetumer. Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), Sarah Esberg, Jonathan van Tulleken, and Erica Kay executive produce.

Deadline first reported on the casting.
