Blumhouse Atomic has entered a first look deal with Tiny Onion, the production house of James Tynion IV, to develop his intellectual property across film, television and animation.

The deal includes a film and animated adaptation of the serial killer battle royale comic book Exquisite Corpses.

Exquisite Corpses centers on a ruthless battle royale held every five years on Halloween, hosted by the Thirteen Families, the powerful elite who control everything. The lethal game determines which family will have the seat of power for the next half decade. Each family draws a weapon that their killer will need to use throughout the night, and side bets are placed on everything from who dies first to who can rack up the most civilian kills.
