A Medusa live action movie is in the works at Disney.

The movie is being written by Michael Montemayor (Tangled), with Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks developing the movie for Disney.

Deadline notes, “Details of Montemayor’s take of Medusa are being kept under wraps but will be a very unique take on the Greek myth figure.” Stay tuned for further updates.

Dwayne Johnson will produce with Seven Bucks partners Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
