Boss Team Games (Evil Dead: The Game) is developing two new Halloween games based on the classic 1978 film, according to IGN.

Details on the games are limited, however, producers of the Halloween franchise will be working on both games. Additionally, one of the games will be developed in Unreal Engine 5, with the original film’s director, John Carpenter, assisting.

The official release describes the game as allowing players to “relive moments from the film and play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time.” The two new games are being developed in association with Compass International Pictures and Further Front, with the Unreal Engine 5 project still early in development.
