Sam Raimi is making his return to horror with Send Help. Dylan O’Brien (Love and Monsters) has joined the cast alongside Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Deadline reports.

The 20th Century Studios project, “is a survival horror thriller about two colleagues (O’Brien and McAdams) who become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”

O’Brien is fresh off playing Dan Aykroyd in Jason Reitman’s Saturday Night, an immersive look at the 90 minutes preceding the first ever episode of “Saturday Night Live,” and he also starred in last year’s M. Night Shyamalan-produced thriller Caddo Lake.

Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th 2009) wrote the screenplay. Raimi will produce alongside Zainab Azizi under Raimi Productions.
