Peacock has dropped a teaser for thriller series The Copenhagen Test.

The series is led by Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera.

From creator Thomas Brandon and executive producer James WanThe Copenhagen Test follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu), who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies. 

Barrera plays Michelle, a deceptive character who will keep everyone guessing. The series also stars Sinclair Daniel as Parker, an intelligence officer who gets swept up into a new world she must figure out quickly; Brian D’Arcy James as John Moira, a boss and mentor who is not afraid to make tough decisions; Mark O’Brien as Cobb, an ambitious intelligence agent; and Kathleen Chalfant as St. George, a quiet leader focused on the long game.

Brandon created and writes The Copenhagen Test and serves as executive producer alongside co-showrunner and EP Jennifer Yale. Wan, Michael Clear and Rob Hackett are executive producers for Atomic Monster, with Liu also EP’ing. Mark Winemaker and Jet Wilkinson will also executive produce, with Wilkinson attached to direct the first two episodes. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

The Copenhagen Test will premiere on December 27.
